Irving Berlin’s White Christmas, the stage adaptation of the popular 1954 film musical that has previously been seen in six North American cities since 2004, will make its New York premiere at Broadway’s Marquis Theatre, November 14-January 4. Casting will be announced at a later date.

The show is directed by Tony Award winner Walter Bobbie, with choreography by Randy Skinner, and a book by David Ives and Paul Blake. The creative team includes Anna Louizos (sets), Carrie Robbins (costumes), Ken Billington (lighting), Acme Sound Partners (sound), and Larry Blank (orchestrations).

The plot revolves around two show business buddies who perform in a Vermont inn and find their perfect mates. The score includes such Berlin classics as “Count Your Blessings Instead of Sheep,” “Sisters,” “How Deep is the Ocean,” and the title song. The film, directed by Michael Curtiz, starred Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney, and Vera-Ellen.
