Full Cast Set for Tim Firth’s The Safari Party

Full casting has been announced for the U.S. premiere of Tim Firth’s The Safari Party, to be presented by Personal Space Theatrics at Kaufman Theater at Algonquin, September 19-October 11. Nicholas Cotz will direct.

Set inside three households of Cheshire, England, the characters have agreed to hold a “safari party,” a common type of dinner party in the UK, where each course is served at a different house. This black farce for the 21st century employs lies, blood, racism, suicide, shotguns, sheep shears, and table golf.

The cast will include Rebecca Street (Esther), Ed Schiff (Lol), Erika Sheffer (Bridget ), Patrick Shibles Jones (Adam), Janet Prince (Inga), and Stuart Williams (Daniel).

Firth’s other plays include Calendar Girls and Kinky Boots.
