Anne Steele Wins MetroStar Talent Challenge

Award-winning cabaret singer Anne Steele has been named the winner of the Metropoltian Room’s MetroStar Talent Challenge, besting 60 other contestants in a
seven-week competition. She will headline in the club this winter for a week and receive a professionally produced recording of the show.
Runners-up Stearns Matthews and Nesha Ward will open for Steele during her engagement, and receive demo recordings of their appearance.
Steele is a two-time MAC Award nominee and a winner of a Back Stage Bistro Award. She recently appeared on the Rosie O’Donnell Cruise, and has played such clubs as Don’t Tell Mama and Brandy’s.
