Patinkin to Join Merkerson and Parsons for Actors at Work Reading

Tony Award winner Mandy Patinkin will join previously announced Oscar winner Estelle Parsons and Emmy Award winner S. Epatha Merkerson for a reading, discussion, and book signing in conjunction with the publication of Rosemarie Tichler and Barry Jay Kaplan’s new book Actors at Work, published by Faber & Faber. The event will take place August 29 at 7:30 p.m. at the Barnes & Noble Lincoln Triangle (Broadway and 66th Street).

The three actors are among the stars who participated in the book, discussing such topics as their acting process, how they approach a role, how they use their personal lives in the work, and how they deal with other cast members. The book’s other interviewees are Frances Conroy, Billy Crudup, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Ruben Santiago-Hudson, Kevin Kline, John Lithgow, Patti LuPone, Marian Seldes, Kevin Spacey, Meryl Streep, and Dianne Wiest.
