Broadway star Liz McCartney and two-time Tony Award nominee Bob Stillman will co-star in Stephen Temperley’s Souvenir at the Good Theater in Portland, Maine, November 1-18. The production will be directed by Brian Allen, the company’s artistic director. Souvenir focuses on the socialite Florence Foster Jenkins, who believed herself to be a great singer, an opinion not shared by her audiences.

The Good Theater season will kick off with Ruthless! The Musical (September 20-October 14). Later this year, Willi Burke and George Merritt will appear in the holiday concert Broadway at Good Theater (December 6-9). In 2008, the company will present the world premiere of The Judy Garland Songbook, Craig Lucas’ romantic comedy Prelude to a Kiss, and David Lindsay-Abaire’s Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Rabbit Hole.
