Joe Iconis, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Daniel Reichard will be among the participants of the New York Musical Theatre Festival‘s Concert Series at Ars Nova, to be presented September 22-October 7.

Iconis teams up with fellow songwriter Robert Maddock and director John Simpkins for Hearken to a Pie Hole on Monday, September 24. They will be joined by a cast of starry musical theater punks for a night of piano smashing music full of evil M.C.’s, delightful derelicts, hedonistic hustlers and a baby in a jar.

Reichard will present Kegger ’07, Friday October 5. The Jersey Boys star celebrates music, beer and the stupid things that happen when you put the two together. Reichard and special guests will perform classic rock songs all night long.

Miranda, who will star in the Broadway production of his musical In the Heights this spring, will present Junk in the Trunk, October 7. The show will feature songs from his past, present, and future. Miranda will be joined by cast members of In the Heights, internationally renowned beatboxer Shockwave, and special guests.

Additional concerts will include Nick Jones and Benjaman Ickies in Without Skin or Hair (September 22), Eli Bolin and Sam Forman in Chopsticks Larry: A Tribute (September 23), Melanie Adelman and Ellie Dvorkin in Mel & El: This Show Rhymes (September 28), Elizabeth Lucas in Clear Blue Tuesday (September 29), Jeremy Schonfeld in New York Storybook (October 1), Todd Almond in Todd Almond Loves You (October 4), and Paul Scott Goodman in Songs, Stories, Friends (October 6).
