Full Cast, Creative Team Set for LAByrinth’s View From 151st Street

Full cast and creative team have been announced for the LAByrinth Theater Company’s world premiere production of Bob Glaudini’s A View From 151st Street, to play the Public Theatre, October 5-November 4. The production, which will open officially on October 18, will be directed by Peter DuBois.

In this new play by the author of Jack Goes Boating, cops, rappers, dealers, teachers, hustlers, husbands, and wives dwell in the rhythms of rap, raw humor, aphasic staccato, and live jazz.

The cast will feature Gbenga Akinnagbe, Liza Colón-Zayas, Craig “muMs” Grant, Juan Carlos Hernandez, Russell G. Jones, Marisa Malone, Elizabeth Rodriguez, and Andre Royo. The creative team features David Korins (sets) Mimi O’Donnell (costumes), Japhy Weideman (lighting), Bart Fasbender (sound), Michael Cain (music composition), and Paul J. Thompson (music direction).
