Cake, Cerveris, Cullum, Plimpton, Rashad Set for LCT's Cymbeline

Preliminary casting has been announced for Lincoln Center Theater's production of William Shakespeare's Cymbeline, beginning on November 1 with an official opening on December 2. The production will be directed by Mark Lamos.

The cast of 26 will be led by Jonathan Cake as Iachimo, Michael Cerveris as Posthumus, John Cullum as Cymbeline, Martha Plimpton as Imogen, and Phylicia Rashad as the Queen.

The creative team will feature Michael Yeargan (sets), Jess Goldstein (costumes), Brian MacDevitt (lighting), Tony Smolenski IV and Walter Trarbach (sound), and Mel Marvin (original music).

Lamos' directorial credits include Seascape, The Rivals, Our Country's Good, The Deep Blue Sea, and Big Bill.
