Broadway and Off-Broadway stars Marie-France Arcilla, David A. Austin, Colin Hanlon, Lisa Howard, and Ryan Cunningham will be among the featured performers in the second event of the ArtsCents Concert Series, to be held on Monday, August 21 at 7pm at The Triad (158 West 72nd Street in Manhattan).

The concert will benefit Artists Striving to End Poverty (ASTEP). It will showcase the songs of Cunningham and Joshua Salzman, who will accompany the singers on piano. The duo recently collaborated on the critically acclaimed new musical I Love You Because, which enjoyed an Off-Broadway run earlier this year and will play various upcoming regional engagements in 2007.

Admission to the concert is a jar of change (any size), and there is a two-drink minimum. The inaugural ArtCents benefit concert on July 17, which featured the music of Stephen Barnett, raised more than $1,100. Upcoming concerts will be announced shortly.
