Kevin Tighe and Peter Crook will star in Seattle’s ACT Theatre’s production of Caryl Churchill’s A Number, September 1-October 1. The show, which will be directed by John Kaznajian, will open officially on September 7.

The play focuses on the issue of cloning, as Salter (Tighe) comes face to face with the various versions of his son (Crook) that he has engineered. Churchill’s other plays include Top Girls, Cloud Nine, Fen, and Mad Forest. The show’s creative team will include Carey Wong (sets), Deb Trout (costumes), Rick Paulsen (lighting), and Lindsay Smith (sound).

Tighe starred on Broadway in Open Admissions and Off-Broadway in A Skull in Connemara and The Ballad of Soapy Smith. He has appeared on the hit television series Lost and is best known for playing Roy DeSoto in the popular 1970s television series Emergency.

Crook stared as Mozart in the original Broadway production of Amadeus and in the Public Theater’s productions of Hamlet and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. His film and television credits include Chaplin, Snow Falling on Cedars, and Max Headroom.
