Lainie Kazan, Melba Moore, and Faith Prince will be among the entertainers appearing this fall at San Francisco’s Empire Plush Room at the York Hotel.

The season kicks off September 12-17 with Moore, a Tony Award winner for Purlie, who is currently starring in the national tour of Brooklyn: The Musical. She will be followed by comedienne Margaret Cho (September 26), legendary comic Mort Sahl (September 27-30), Oscar- and Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Paul Williams (October 3-8), actress/singer Sally Kellerman (October 10-15), and Jenifer Lewis, who is currently starring in the Shakespeare in the Park production of Mother Courage (October 17-22).

They will be followed by the award-winning cabaret singer Maude Maggart (November 1-12), and Steven Brinberg, who will perform his critically acclaimed Simply Barbra show (November 14-19). Concluding the season are pop favorite Jane Olivor (December 5-10), followed by Prince, the Tony Award-winning star of such Broadway shows as Guys and Dolls, Bells Are Ringing, and Little Me (December 12-17), in her show Leap of Faith, and Kazan, who received a Tony nomination for My Favorite Year and succeeded Barbra Streisand as Fanny Brice in Funny Girl.

Meanwhile, TheaterMania has learned that Marin Mazzie and Jason Danieley have postponed their previously announced October engagement until next June, due to Mazzie’s commitment to step into the Broadway production of Monty Python’s Spamalot on October 31.
