Tony Award nominees Jonathan Hadary and Marin Mazzie will join the Broadway production of Monty Python’s Spamalot on October 31. Hadary will step into the role of King Arthur, replacing Harry Groener, while Mazzie will play The Lady of the Lake, taking over from Lauren Kennedy.

Hadary received a Tony nomination for his performance as Herbie in the 1990 revival of Gypsy. His other Broadway credits include Torch Song Trilogy, As Is, All Shook Up, and last season’s Tony-winning revival of Awake and Sing!

Mazzie is a three-time Tony nominee for Ragtime, Kiss Me, Kate, and Passion. Among her other Broadway credits are Big River and Man of La Mancha. She starred last year in The Actors’ Fund concert of On the Twentieth Century.

Spamalot opened on March 17, 2005. The show won three Tony Awards including Best Musical and Best Director of a Musical for Mike Nichols’ work. In addition to Groener and Kennedy, the current cast is headed by Lewis Cleale, Steve Kazee, and Martin Moran.
