Grey Gardens, History Boys, The Lieutenant of Inishmore, et al. Chosen for The Best Plays of 2005-2006 Yearbook

Grey Gardens, History Boys, and The Lieutenant of Inishmore are among the works chosen for coverage in The Best Plays of 2005-2006 yearbook, due out in 2007 from Limelight Editions. This edition of the annual chronicle — the 87th of its kind — will include essays on these plays by notable journalists and theater professionals.

The selections encompass plays (and one musical) that opened on or Off- Broadway during the 2005-2006 season; they were made by editor Jeffrey Eric Jenkins in consultation with the yearbook’s editorial board, including Robert Brustein, Tish Dace, Christine Dolen, Robert Hurwitt, John Istel, Chris Jones, Julius Novick, Michael Phillips, Christopher Rawson, Alisa Solomon, Jeffrey Sweet, Linda Winer, and TheaterMania contributor Charles Wright.
