Tony Award winner Dan Fogler, Noah Bean, and Kelly Hutchinson have been cast in Dan O’Brien’s comedy The Voyage of the Carcass, which will run at the SoHo Playhouse from October 5 through November 12. The production, to be directed by Randy Baruh, will open officially on October 16.

The piece has a play-within-a-play structure; it focuses on the struggles of three actors who are performing a play about a Polar expedition gone awry. O’Brien is the author of The Dear Boy, seen last year as part of Second Stage Theatre’s Uptown Series, as well as Moving Pictures and Key West.

Fogler won a Tony Award for his portrayal of William Barfee in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. He will be seen in numerous upcoming films including The Marconi Brothers, Fanboys, and Number Thirteen, in which he will play Alfred Hitchcock.

Bean has starred regionally in such plays as Romance and Love’s Labours Lost; his TV appearances include Ed and Numb3rs. Hutchinson has appeared Off-Broadway in Homebody/Kabul and Romola & Nijinsky.
