Mary Cleere Haran to Sing Harry Warren Songbook at Feinstein’s

Cabaret singer Mary Cleere Haran will perform her new show Lullaby of Broadway: The Harry Warren Songbook at Feinstein’s at the Regency, October 26-November 5.

Haran has been one of the country’s leading cabaret artists for more than 15 years, having played such venues as Rainbow & Stars, the Algonquin Hotel’s Oak Room, the Plush Room, and the Russian Tea Room. She appeared on Broadway in the 1979 musical The 1940s Radio Hour, has numerous recordings to her credit, and has written articles for The New York Times and other publications.

Warren’s songs have been featured in numerous Broadway shows — most notably 42nd Street, Dream, and Swing — and dozens of movies. He is best known for such hits as “I Only Have Eyes for You”, “Jeepers Creepers”, and “You Must Have Been a Beautiful Baby”.

The 2005 schedule at Feinstein’s also includes Kitty Carlisle Hart (September 20-24), Rip Crystal (September 26), John Pizzarelli (September 27-October 8), Carol Channing (October 11-22), Michele Lee (November 15-26), Kit and the Widow (November 28), Michael Feinstein (November 29-December 30), Kathryn Crosby (December 5), and Rebecca Luker (December 12-15).
