Judy Blazer, Liz Callaway, Walter Charles, Fyvush Finkel, and Billy Porter will be among the artists appearing in September at Any Wednesday at Tower, a continuing series of live free concerts at Tower Records Lincoln Center store (Broadway and 66th Street), co-presented by Faust Harrison Pianos.

On September 7, Finkel celebrates his long career in show business with selections from his album, It’s Never Too Late, which features songs from Fiddler on the Roof and Gigi, along with original material. Finkel played Mordcha the Innkeeper in the original Broadway production of Fiddler as well as the 1981 revival. He starred on Broadway in Café Crown, played Mushnik in the Off-Broadway production of Little Shop of Horrors, and won an Emmy Award for his role on the CBS series Picket Fences.

Jazz and cabaret singer Deborah Latz will appear on September 14. The following week, on September 21, Blazer, Callaway, and Charles will be introducing songs from two prospective Broadway musicals, Time After Time and Dodsworth, both with music by Jeffrey Saver and lyrics by Stephen Cole. Blazer’s Broadway credits include Me and My Girl and Titanic; Callaway has been seen on Broadway in Baby, Cats, and The Look of Love; Charles has starred on the Great White Way in La Cage Aux Folles and Big River.

Porter will be on hand on September 28 to present highlights from his live album At the Corner of Broadway & Soul, which was recorded at Joe’s Pub. Porter’s Broadway credits include Grease, Five Guys Named Moe, and Miss Saigon. He was most recently seen Off-Broadway in Birdie Blue.

The performances begin each Wednesday evening at 6pm, last approximately 30 minutes, and are followed by a CD signing/meet and greet the artist session. Limited seating is available.
