Annie Golden will star in the new musical The Ark, which will play at 37 Arts’ Theater B beginning October 14. The production, to be directed and choreographed by Ray Roderick, will officially open on November 14.

The musical, which features music by songwriter Michael McLean and book and lyrics by McLean and Kevin Kelly, takes a contemporary look at the classic story of Noah by showing the history of his family. In addition to Golden, the cast will feature Paul Harmon (as Noah), Marie-France Arcilla, D.B Bonds, Justin Brill, Julie Foldesi, Carla J. Hargrove, Jacqueline Piro, Chuck Ragsdale, and Rob Sutton.

Golden appeared in the 1977 Broadway production of Hair, as well as the 1979 film version and the 2004 Actor’s Fund Concert version (in which she sang “Frank Mills”). Her other Broadway credits include Leader of the Pack, On the Town, and The Full Monty. She will be appearing on August 14 at Joe’s Pub.
