Theater Grows in Brooklyn: Gallery Players Announce 2003-2004 Season of Plays and Musicals

The Gallery Players, an Off-Off-Broadway theater company located in Brooklyn’s Park Slope, has announced the four plays and three musicals that will comprise its 37th season.

In addition to the annual “Black Box New Play Festival,” the plays to be performed are Alan Ayckbourn’s Bedroom Farce, Philip Barry’s Holiday, and Kenneth Lonergan’s Lobby Hero. The musicals set for production are Rupert Holmes’s The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Clark Gesner’s You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown, and Stephen Sondheim and George Furth’s Merrily We Roll Along.
