Two Debuts: New Play, New Off-Broadway Theater To Be Unveiled in October

Blessing in Disguise, a new play with music, will be the first show to bow at The Times Square Theatre, a new Off-Broadway space in the theater district.

Located at 675 Eighth Avenue, between 42nd and 43rd Streets, The Times Square Theatre was specifically designed to house Blessing in Disguise, an environmental theater piece about seven drag queens who have to fight to keep the theater in which they perform nightly.

The show is written and directed by Larry Pellegrini and features music by Jason Howland. Previews begin October 3, with the official opening set for October 19.
