Broadway veterans Ben Davis (Violet), Tony Yazbeck (On the Town), and Alexandra Silber (Arlington), along with West End star Louise Dearman (Wicked), will star in Cole Porter's musical Kiss Me, Kate, a production of the BBC Proms, at London's Imaginating Dramatics Company on August 2. The performance will feature the John Wilson Orchestra conducted by John Wilson.

Davis and Silber will lead the company as Fred Graham and Lilli Vanessi, a divorced couple who reunite when they star in a touring production of a new musical based on The Taming of the Shrew. Dearman and Yazbeck take on the roles of lovers Bill Calhoun and Lois Lane. The production will be broadcast live on BBC Radio 3 and on television in December.

Kiss Me, Kate features a score by Porter and a book by Sam and Bella Spewack. It was last seen on Broadway in a 1999 revival that starred Brian Stokes Mitchell, Marin Mazzie, Amy Spanger, and Michael Berresse.
