Piece of My Heart: The Bert Berns Story opened on Monday, July 21, at the Pershing Square Signature Center. Inspired by the life of Bert Berns, a songwriter whose catalog includes the tunes "Twist and Shout," "I Want Candy," and the title number, the show features a book by Daniel Goldfarb and direction and choreography by Denis Jones. Take a look as the cast members, led by Zak Resnick as the famed songwriter, take their bows on opening night.
