A limited number of $20 tickets will be available for each performance of Scott Organ's dark romantic comedy Phoenix at the Cherry Lane Theatre, producers have announced. Running from July 28-August 23, the production stars Julia Stiles and James Wirt. Jennifer DeLia directs.

"We passionately believe live theater should be accessible to audiences of all ages and incomes," said producer Rian Patrick Durham in a statement about the special ticket pricing.

Phoenix follows Bruce (James Wirt) and Sue (Julia Stiles), who meet again four weeks after an uncharacteristic one-night stand. The two are forced to consider a new world of possibility as Bruce is fueled by a compulsion to join Sue in Phoenix, while she is reluctantly charmed by his persistence.

The creative team will features Caite Hevner Kemp (scenic design), Amit Gajwani (costume design), Oona Curley (lighting design), Janie Bullard (sound design), and Burton Machen (scenic art).

Phoenix premiered at the 34th Humana Festival of New American Plays at Actors Theatre of Louisville on March 5, 2010, and received its off-Broadway premiere in a Barrow Group Theatre Company production on April 10, 2010.
