54 Below has announced a two-year agreement with Tony Award winner Patti LuPone, who has signed on to perform two-week engagements at the Broadway supper club twice yearly through 2016.

LuPone's contract begins today with an engagement that will run from July 21-August 2. Titled The Lady With the Torch, the concert is conceived and directed by Tony winner Scott Wittman (Hairspray) and features selections by songwriters including Arthur Schwartz, Howard Dietz, Jule Styne, Sammy Cahn, Billy Barnes, Harold Arlen, George and Ira Gershwin, and Cole Porter.

"I love 54 Below," said LuPone in a statement. "It was an honor to launch this beautiful supper club when it first opened its doors two years ago and it always feels like a homecoming when I return."

"We are thrilled to have entered into this multi-year collaboration with Patti LuPone," said Richard Frankel, an owner of 54 Below. "This agreement to grace our audiences with eight weeks of performances in the next two years is a testament to Patti's power as an artist and the devoted audience that wants to see her."
