kef theatrical productions will present It's Only Kickball, Stupid, a new play by Caroline Prugh, at the Hartley House from August 28 to September 14. Adam Fitzgerald will direct the new immersive production.

It's Only Kickball, Stupid is a time-bending comedy that brings the audience into the center of the action. The story follows young Fiona Moor, who fights off Margo Jones' efforts to convince her to join the all-girl kickball team in their daily recess battles against the boys. As Fiona grows up and the playground fades into memory, adult Fiona reflects on finding herself in a world that does not offer explanations.

The cast will feature Autumn Hurlbert, Eric T. Miller, Lori Prince, and Debargo Sanyal. The production features scenic design by David L. Arsenault, lighting design by Travis McHale and costume design by Lisa Zinni.
