Aladdin's James Monroe Iglehart Gives Us a Taste of His Hosting Chops Before He Takes To The View

James Monroe Iglehart, the Tony Award-winning Genie of Broadway's Aladdin, made a surprise appearance outside the New Amsterdam Theatre for the herd of hopeful ticket-lottery entrants. He personally selected the lucky lottery winners to purchase rush tickets to the new Disney musical, followed by a few laps of fan photos and hugs.

Perhaps Iglehart was using this brief cameo as practice before he takes his seat round the water cooler with the ladies of The View as guest cohost next Friday, July 25. Judging by this dry run, it looks like he'll be a huge crowd favorite.
