Laura Osnes and Santino Fontana hosted the ceremony, which took place on July 1 at the Minskoff Theatre.
Sarah Lynn Marion of Fullerton, California, and Taylor Varga of Norwich, Connecticut, were named Best Actress and Best Actor at the fifth annual National High School Musical Theater Awards, held at Broadway’s Minskoff Theatre. Nicknamed the Jimmy Awards (after theatrical impresario James Nederlander), the evening invited students from across the country to compete for the coveted award. On hand to host the ceremony were Cinderella stars Laura Osnes and Santino Fontana. Guests also included the many children who currently appear on Broadway.
