After a two-year run off-Broadway, Silence! The Musical is bleating its final farewell this Sunday, July 7. The show, an unauthorized musical parody of the 1991 Academy Award-winning thriller The Silence of the Lambs, follows FBI trainee Clarice Starling (Laura Jordan) as she enlists the help of refined British doctor/cannibal Hannibal Lecter (Sean McDermott) in tracking serial killer “Buffalo Bill” (David Ayers). Silence! features a book by Tony Award nominee Hunter Bell ([title of show]) and a score by Jon and Al Kaplan.

If the end of Silence! feels like having your skin carefully removed, ease the pain with these two videos: production footage from the cult hit and musical director Brian Nash singing a bone-chilling one-man version of Les Miz‘s “One Day More.”

The rest is silence.
