Norbert Leo Butz and Kate Baldwin Will Star in the Musical Big Fish on Broadway; Full Cast Announced

Entire cast includes Bobby Steggert, Krystal Joy Brown, and more.

John August and Andrew Lippa’s new musical Big Fish, based on the 2003 film of the same name, has announced full casting for its upcoming Broadway production, which will begin performances on September 5, with an October 6 opening. Susan Stroman, who helmed the show’s recent Chicago run, will direct.

The stars of the Chicago production, Norbert Leo Butz (Catch Me If You Can) and Kate Baldwin (Giant), will continue their roles in the Broadway run. The cast will also include Bobby Steggert (Giant), Krystal Joy Brown (Leap Of Faith), Anthony Pierini (Mary Poppins), and Zachary Unger (Chaplin) as well as Ryan Andes, Ben Crawford, J. C. Montgomery, Brad Oscar, Ciara Renee, Kirsten Scott, Sarrah Strimel, Preston Truman Boyd, Bree Branker, Alex Brightman, Joshua Buscher, Robin Campbell, Bryn Dowling, Jason Lee Garrett, Leah Hofmann, Synthia Link, Angie Schworer, Lara Seibert, Tally Sessions, Cary Tedder, and Ashley Yeater.

Big Fish is a fable about a father and son with stories of epic and largely unbelievable proportion. It will also feature set design by Julian Crouch, costume design by William Ivey Long, and lighting design by Donald Holder.
