Harriet Walter, Frances Barber, Cush Jumbo Will Star in Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar at St. Ann’s Warehouse

The acclaimed, all-female revival premiered in 2012 at London’s Donmar Warehouse.

Tony Award nominee Harriet Walter (Mary Stuart) will lead the cast of the Donmar Warehouse‘s all-female production of William Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar when it has its American premiere at St. Ann’s Warehouse from October 3-November 3. Tony nominee Phyllida Lloyd (Mary Stuart) directs the acclaimed revival, which originated at London’s Donmar in November 2012.

Walter takes on the role of Brutus, alongside her Donmar co-stars Frances Barber as Caesar; Jenny Jules as Cassius; Cush Jumbo as Mark Antony; Jade Anouka as Calpurnia, Metellus Cimber, and Pindarus; Helen Cripps as Cinna the poet; Clare Dunne as Portia and Octavius Caesar; Jennifer Joseph as Trebonius; Irene Ketikidi as Dardanius; Carrie Rock as the Soothsayer; and Danielle Ward as Lepidus and Clitus. Joining the company for the American run are Susan Brown as Casca; Meline Danielewicz as Cinna and Volumnius; and Susan Wokoma as Lucius.

On the creative team, Julius Caesar will feature Bunny Christie (scenic and costume design), Neil Austin (lighting design), Tom Gibbons (sound design), Gary Yershon (composer), Ann Yee (movement director), and Kate Walters (fight director).
