Works by Elfriede Jelinek, Laura Marks, Allison Moore Set for Women’s Project’s New Season at City Center

The Women’s Project has announced the line-up for their 2012-2013 season, which will take place at New York City Center Stage II.

The season will open with Laura Marks’ dark comedy Bethany, directed by Gaye Taylor Upchurch and running January 11-February 17. In the work, a financially-strapped single mother discovers how far she’ll go to regain what she’s lost.

This will be followed by Jackie, a look at the life of Jackie Kennedy Onassis, by 2004 Noble Prize for Literature winner Elfriede Jelinek, translated from the german by Gitta Honegger, and directed by Tea Alagic (February 24-March 31).

The final work is Collapse, Allison Moore’s exploration of the real and imagined circumstances that push people to their limits, directed by Jackson Gay, running April 7-May 19.
