The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Brooklyn will introduce an original show Missionary in Manhattan: A Mormon Musical, written by Orchestra founders Caitlin Davis and Elizabeth May. This musical comedy about the fundamentals of big hair, blind faith, and plural marriage will run August 23-September 9 at the Theater for the New City.

Missionary in Manhattan, the story of three polygamist pop stars, Sister Gretchen, Sister Fanny, and Sister Bunny Katherine, who have found themselves abandoned by their brother husband in New York City, is a part of the Dream Up Festival: Theater for the New City's Summer Showcase.

This 45-minute long production stars Caitlin Davis, Elizabeth May, Dave May and Lily Narbonne with scenic and light design by Flora Vassar and stage management by Amy Pen.
