PHOTO FLASH: Joan Rivers Visits Broadway’s Newsies

Joan Rivers, her grandson Cooper, and Cooper’s friend Julian, attended a recent performance of Broadway’s Newsies at the Nederlander Theatre.
Following the performance, Rivers met with star Jeremy Jordan and posed for photos with the cast backstage.
Newsies, with music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Jack Feldman, and a book by Harvey Fierstein, tells the story of Jack Kelly (played by Jordan), a charismatic newsboy and leader of a ragged band of teenaged ‘newsies,’ who dreams only of a better life far from the hardship of the streets.
