Human and puppet cast members from the Off-Broadway production of Avenue Q visited the Bronx Zoo on Thursday, July 12 to take in a performance of Avenue Zoo, a family musical which is performed Thursday through Sunday at the park's Asia Plaza Stage.

Avenue Zoo is an educational musical in which Avenue Q star Kate Monster meets exotic animals and discovers that they're not as scary as they may seem.

Avenue Q, featuring a score by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx, a book by Jeff Whitty, and direction by Jason Moore, currently runs at New World Stages.
