Nick Blaemire, Phil Blechman, Shawn Nabors Set for 2012 Araca Project

The Araca Group has announced the new plays which will make up the second annual Araca Project, to take place August 1-September 29 at the American Theater of Actors.
The line-up includes Shawn Nabors’ Cake, directed by Rod Gailes (August 1-5); Phil Blechman’s The Black Book (August 8-12); and The Man with America Skin by Seth Moore, directed by Alex Bisker (August 16-25).
Also featured will be the musicals Hot Mess in Manhattan by Cait Doyle and Meggie Doyle, featuring music and lyrics by Adam Gwon, Ryan Scott Oliver, Julianne Wick Davis, Kait Kerrigan & Brian Lowdermilk, Gaby Alter, Nick Blaemire, Sam Carner & Derek Gregor, Ryan Cunningham & Joshua Salzman, Drew Gasparini, Michael Mahler and Keith Varney (August 30-September 8); the improv show One Night Only directed by TJ Shanoff, with musical direction by Mike Descoteaux (September 11-15); and Paul Rescigno, Robbie Rescigno, and Mike Hadge’s The Rescignos, directed by Lisa Anne Porter and Nicole Ricciardi.
