Lincoln Center Theater has announced a second extension for its production of Greg Pierce’s new play, Slowgirl, directed by Anne Kauffman. The show is the first production to be presented by LCT3 in its new home, The Claire Tow Theater on the roof of Lincoln Center Theater’s Vivian Beaumont Theater. The production will now play through Sunday, August 5.

Željko Ivanek and Sarah Steele star in this two-hander about Becky (Steele), a teenager who flees to her reclusive uncle Sterling’s (Ivanek) retreat in the Costa Rican jungle to escape the aftermath of a horrific accident. The week they spend together forces them both to confront who they are as well as what it is they are running from.

Slowgirl features sets by Rachel Hauck, costumes by Emily Rebholz, lighting by Japhy Weideman and sound by Leah Gelpe.
