Jeremy Kushnier to Join Broadway's Jersey Boys in October

Jeremy Kushnier will join the Broadway cast of Jersey Boys at the August Wilson Theatre beginning October 9. The production is directed by Des McAnuff, with choreography by Sergio Trujillo.

Kushnier, who most recently appeared in the Broadway revival of Jesus Christ Superstar, will replace Andy Karl in the role of Tommy DeVito. Karl will play his final performance on October 7.

Kushnier played Tommy DeVito in the Chicago, Las Vegas, and Toronto companies of Jersey Boys. He has starred as Ren McCormick in Footloose, and as Roger in Rent. Additional credits include Radames in Aida (National Tour) and Dr. Madden in Next to Normal (National Tour).

Jersey Boys features a book by Marshall Brickman & Rick Elice, with music by Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe.
