Jackie Evancho: Music of the Movies to Air on PBS’ Great Performances in August

Jackie Evancho: Music of the Movies will be broadcast on PBS’ Great Performances on August 11 at 7:30 pm, with an encore telecast on August 14 at 8 pm. The project is directed by David Horn with conductor Bill Ross.
This program, which will be recorded in Los Angeles’ Orpheum Theatre. will feature songs such as “Pure Imagination,” “My Heart Will Go On,” “Can You Feel the Love Tonight,” and “Some Enchanted Evening.” A CD of the special will be released in October.
Evancho was first seen at 10-years-old as a contestant on America’s Got Talent, and has since released the CDs O Holy Night and Dream With Me.
