Casting has been announced for the John W. Engeman Theater's production of Rapunzel: A Tangled Fairytale, to run Saturday and Sunday mornings from July 14-August 19. Mark Adam Rampmeyer directs the work, which is part of the Bethpage Federal Credit Union Youth Theater Series.

Rapunzel is an adaptation of the Brothers Grimm fairytale in which a timid young prince must rescue a determined but immature young lady with very long hair from her possessive mother, who happens to be a witch.

The cast will feature Christina Corsaro (Rapunzel, Cobbler's Wife), Jennifer Collester-Tully (Witch, Wigmaker), Adam Mosebach (Storyteller, Simon the Valet, Innkeeper, Man with Mop, Castle Guard, King), and Evan Teich (Prince Brian, Cobbler).
