Charlie Victor Romeo to Be Made Into 3-D Film, Return to New York Stage

The Drama Desk Award-winning Charlie Victor Romeo will be filmed in mid-August utilizing stereoscopic 3D technology to record live performances at 3LD Arts & Technology Center.

Billed as “a live performance documentary,” the piece is derived entirely from the “Black Box” transcripts of six major real-life airline emergencies, and allows the audience into the tension-filled cockpits of actual flights in distress. Bob Berger and Patrick Daniels, who along with Irving Gregory, were the original creators of the stage piece, are spearheading the film project.

In conjunction with the film, Charlie Victor Romeo will also be presented in an extended theatrical run at 3LD in October.
