Amanda Peet to Join CBS’ The Good Wife

Stage and screen veteran Amanda Peet will join the cast of the CBS drama The Good Wife in a recurring role, according to the website TV Line.

Peet will play a military lawyer who hires Alicia Florrick (played by Julianna Margulies) to help sue a contract worker for attempted sexual assault.

Her stage credits include Barefoot in the Park, The Break of Noon, and This Is How it Goes.


As previously reported, the fourth season of The Good Wife will also feature recurring appearances by Tony Award and Emmy winner Kristin Chenoweth, Tony winner Nathan Lane, and stage and screen stars
Maura Tierney and Marc Warren.

The Good Wife also stars Christine Baranski, Alan Cumming, Archie Panjabi, Chris Noth, Mary Beth Peil, and Matt Czuchry.
