American Indian Artists Inc.’s production of William S. YellowRobe, Jr.’s Thieves, will run August 3-14 at the Public Theater. Steve Elm will direct.

The play, set in a Brooklyn high school, explores the the absurdity of the urban Indian’s dual existence.

The company will feature Veracity Butcher as Marie St. Germaine-Baker; Dylan Carusona as Slough Jared Montour; Neimah Djourabchi as Sanjay Sahar; James Fall as Quick Brant; Sheri Graubert as Naomi Celestine Andes; Andy Kirtland as Calvin Johnson; Nancy McDoniel as Princess Small Running Water; Gloria Miguel as Teresa Baker; Elizabeth Rolston as Janice Martin; Elizabeth Ruelas as Delores Powless; and Christopher Salazar as Henry Decamps.
