The Flea Announces Fall 2011 Programming

The Flea Theater has announced an initial lineup of programming for its fall season.

As previously announced, the season will begin with a return engagement of The Play Company’s production of Jonas Hassen Khemiri’s Obie Award-winning play, Invasion!, directed by Erica Schmidt.

Up next is She Kills Monsters, a collaboration between the Flea and the Vampire Cowboys Theater Company, written by Qui Nguyen and directed by Robert Ross Parker. The show, which will feature the Flea’s resident company, The Bats, will begin performances on November 4.

The Flea will er will also continue the late night episodic play competition, #serials@theflea, and offer productions as part of its Resident Directors initiative.
