Susan Blackwell, Joe Iconis, et al. Set for July 25 I’m Only Popular At Summer Camp Event

Susan Blackwell and Joe Iconis, along with Ann Leary, Deborah Copaken Kogan, and Ava Crawford, will take part in I’m Only Popular at Summer Camp, the next installment of the six-word memoir reading series to be offered at the 92Y Tribeca on Monday, July 25 at 7pm. The series has been created by SMITH founder Larry Smith and Ashley Van Buren.

The series features artists from various disciplines creating original six-word memoirs and backstories with specific themes. The performance on July 25 will focus on such summer time activities as camp, summer stock and family vacations.

In addition to the performance, the event will include a pre-show happy hour and a post-show story slam, where audience members can share their own six-word memoirs relating to the evening’s theme.
