Sarah Stern to Join Douglas Aibel as Co-Artistic Director of Vineyard Theatre

Sarah Stern has been appointed Vineyard Theatre’s co-artistic director, along with current artistic director Douglas Aibel, beginning with the 2011-2012 season.

Stern first joined the Vineyard in 1999 as Artistic Associate, and has served as Associate Artistic Director since 2001. Among her accomplishments during her time with the company, she formalized and expanded The Vineyard’s new play development programs, which she oversees, and helped launch The Vineyard’s award-winning education program as well as initiatives like the Poetry/Theatre Project, Vineyard Voices, and the Paula Vogel Playwriting Award.
