PHOTO FLASH: Ramona Keller, Shannon Lewis, Marty Thomas, et al. at NYC Dance Alliance National Convention Gala

Stage stars Shannon Lewis, Michael-Demby Cain, Ramona Keller, Marty Thomas, Adrienne Warren, and Katie Thompson were among the celebrities who took part in the Closing Night Gala for the 2011 NYC Dance Alliance National Convention, which was held at the Sheraton New York on July 7.

At the gala, te organization’s executive director, Joe Lanteri, announced the awarding of more than $2.8 million in college scholarships for young dancers from around the country.

The event capped a week in which teenage participants in the alliance’s programs had taken part in workshops with the country’s top choreographers, teachers, and Broadway performers.
