Judy Gold celebrated the opening of her newest solo performance, The Judy Show: My Life as a Sitcom at Off-Broadway's DR2 Theatre on Wednesday, July 6. Amanda Charlton has directed the production.

The autobiographical piece, co-written with Kate Moira Ryan, explores the performer's life as a lesbian mother of two and the television enthusiasms of her own childhood. The two have also collaborated on the original songs for the show, which has additional material by Eric Kornfeld and Bob Smith.

Among the opening night attendees were actors Michael Longoria and B.D. Wong, as well as producers Eva Price and Daryl Roth.
