Paul Rudd to Star in New Errol Morris Film

Broadway veteran Paul Rudd will star in a new movie to be based on Robert F. Nelson’s memoir We Froze the First Man, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Errol Morris will direct the project, which will have a script by Zack Helm.

The movie, which will also draw on a This American Life segment entitled “You’re Cold as Ice,” will tell the story of first man to be cryonically preserved.

Rudd’s Broadway credits include Three Days of Rain, Twelfth Night, and The Last Night of Ballyhoo. His other theater credits include bash: latter day plays and The Shape of Things.


His many film credits include Clueless, The Object of My Affection, The Cider House Rules, and Knocked Up, as well as the forthcoming Our Idiot Brother and Wanderlust.
