Off-Broadway’s The Fantasticks to Offer Weekend Backstage Tours

The Off-Broadway production of Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt’s The Fantasticks, playing at the Snapple Theater Center, will offer free backstage tours following weekend matinee performances through Labor Day. Tours will include a chance to not only explore behind the scenes, but also the opportunity to meet cast members and take photos on stage.

A modern twist on Romeo and Juliet, the musical is the quintessential story of boy and girl sweethearts who go out into the world and discover that with love comes responsibility, with independence comes danger, and with experience comes joy. The score includes the hit songs “Try To Remember”, “They Were You” and “Soon It’s Gonna Rain.”

The company features Bill Bateman, Bradley Dean, Matt Dengler, MacIntyre Dixon, Tom Flagg, Matt Leisy, Anne Markt, Michael Nostrand, Dan Sharkey, Juliette Trafton, and Charles West.

The backstage tours are free, but reservations for ticket buyers are required. To make a reservation, call 212- 921-7862.
