A preliminary lineup of performers has been announced for the New York Civil Liberties Union’s Stand Up For Freedom Concert, to be offered on July 25 at the NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts. Daniel Goldstein will direct the performance, which will be hosted by musical director Seth Rudetsky.

Among the artists scheduled to appear are Erica Ash, De’Adre Aziza, Erich Bergen, Clinton Curtis, Nikki M. James, Moises Kaufman, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Beth Leavel, Nellie McKay, Lindsay Mendez, Steven Pasquale, Andrew Rannells, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Christina Sajous, Liana Stampur, and John Tartaglia. Additional casting will be announced shortly.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the New York Civil Liberties Union’s youth programs, including its work with LGBT teenagers; its Teen Health Initiative, which educates teenagers on their rights to access health care in New York City; and its work to stop overly aggressive policing and military recruiting in the city’s public schools.
