New York City Center Announces Preliminary Lineup for Fall for Dance Festival

New York City Center has announced a preliminary lineup of companies that will participate in the eighth annual Fall for Dance Festival, running October 27-November 6.

The two-week event, which will be the first offering at the landmarked venue following its restoration, will showcase 20 national and international companies and choreographers in five programs, each of which will be repeated once.

The festival will include performances by Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater (NYC), The Australian Ballet (Australia), CCN de Créteil et du Val-de-Marne / Compagnie Käfig (France), Hubbard Street Dance Chicago (Illinois), The Joffrey Ballet (Illinois), Liz Gerring Dance Company (NYC), Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba (Cuba), Mark Morris Dance Group (NYC), Maurice Chestnut and The Above Ground Project (NJ), New York City Ballet (NYC), Pontus Lidberg Dance (Sweden/NYC), Richard Alston Dance Company (UK), Royal Ballet of Flanders (Belgium), Steven McRae (UK), Trisha Brown Dance Company (NYC) and Vertigo Dance Company (Israel).
